Hannah - Parvo Pup

Organized by DFW Pup Patrol Rescue

Update - 02/21/12
It is with great sadness that we send you this update on sweet Hannah. Yesterday she took a big turn for the worse. Her blood platelets became non-existent and her gums and lips went pale. She had nothing left within her little young body to continue fighting and we lost this baby. Hannah was surrounded with much love and nurturing during her last week and at least she did not go by cold hands within the cold walls of a city shelter. Everyone's support, prayers, and love are greatly appreciated by DFW Pup Patrol Rescue and we thank you for helping us make even just a small positive difference in this little one's life. Her chip-in has been reduced to match the expenses incurred. One day we will once again meet this special pup on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge and she will remember us and us her. Until then Hannah will sit next to and with others on a shelf as an icon to our rescue group and what we stand and fight for, never to be alone again.
Update - 02/20/12
PLEASE NETWORK!!!!! Monday morning update....we're giving sweet Hannah another24 hours. For those of you who arenâ??t aware, we rescued her from the Ft.Worth Shelter last week because she was diagnosed with a URI and was on theCode Red Urgent list. She went straight to the vet and was unfortunatelydiagnosed with the dreaded Parvo disease. This little 4-month old girlhas been fighting for her life for a week now, making a little progress eachday. As of this morning she is more active, but is still vomiting and isstill not interested in eating. Today she will get a nice bath, lots oflove, and will get a new catheter. PLEASE pray, pray, pray! Everyone at the vet's office has bonded with her. Our group doesn't wantto give up on her when she is trying so very hard to live; however, we are indesperate need of funds to keep trying for this little girlâ?¦her vetting chargesare now up to $1000. A chip-in will be created and networked. Anyamount will help! You are welcome to begin donating, of course, beforethe chip-in is created via our website, http://www.dfwpuppatrol.com,or if you wish to mail in your donation, please send to: DFW Pup Patrol,P.O. Box 2467, Wylie, TX 75098-2467. We will keep you posted onHannah's progress. Thank you for your continued support, friendship, andlove for our pups!
